This APC PDU that has smallest footprint which minimizes your real estate expenses and with it circuit breaker panel it provides breaker positions for distribution to racks and power zones. The system mobility of this PDU equipment can easily be relocated to accommodate a changing data center environment. The PDU has transformer for Step-down or Step-up or Isolation the step down transformer placed upstream of the UPS to avoid inrush current and saturation eliminating need to oversize transformer and alarm threshold s current in which transformers on each circuit that can provide amp ratings on each circuit position to prevent circuit breaker overloads.

APC Power Distribution Modules simplify both the global deployment of a standard power distribution system and the expansion of existing APC Modular Power Distribution Unit solutions. A variety of breaker and connector options can be chosen to supply either three-phase or single-phase power to the load. Safety features of the Power Distribution Modules include a latch that disconnects the breaker from AC utility power, connectors with positive locking mechanisms, and isolation of all touch points. Built-in monitoring supplies information about the power consumption of connected devices.
