The Cisco WAP581 Wireless-AC Dual Radio Wave 2 Access Point with 2.5GbE LAN uses concurrent dual-band radio for improved coverage and user capacity. The 4 x 4 MU-MIMO technology on the 5.0-GHz radio and 3 x 3 MIMO on the 2.4-GHz radio allow the access point to run at maximum performance and deliver better user experience. Two Gigabit Ethernet LAN interfaces, one with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and the second with 1 Gigabit Ethernet with PoE facilitate flexible installation and reduce cabling and wiring costs. Intelligent quality-of-service (QoS) features let you prioritize bandwidth-sensitive traffic for voice-over-IP (VoIP) and video applications.

To provide highly secure guest access to visitors and other users, Cisco WAP581 Wireless-AC Dual Radio Wave 2 Access Point with 2.5GbE LAN supports a captive portal with multiple authentication options and the ability to configure rights, roles, and bandwidth. A customized guest login page lets you present a welcome message and access details, and reinforces your brand with company logos.

The access points are easy to set up and use, with an intuitive wizard-based configuration to get you operational in minutes. An attractive design with flexible mounting options allows the access points to smoothly blend into any small or medium-sized business environment.

To enhance reliability and safeguard sensitive business information, the WAP581 supports both Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) Personal and Enterprise, encoding all your wireless transmissions with powerful encryption. In addition, 802.1X RADIUS authentication helps keep unauthorized users out.

The Cisco Wireless Service Module 2 (WiSM2) Controller for Catalyst 6500 Series Switches, is a highly scalable and flexible platform that enables systemwide services for mission-critical wireless in medium-sized to large enterprises and campus environments. Designed for 802.11n performance and maximum scalability, the WiSM2 controller supports a higher density of clients and delivers more efficient roaming, with at least nine times the throughput of existing 802.11a/g networks. The WiSM2 controller offers enhanced uptime with the ability to simultaneously manage up to 500 access points; superior performance for reliable streaming video and toll quality voice; and improved fault recovery for a consistent mobility experience in the most demanding environments.

The AirMedia® Series 3 Receiver 200 (AM-3200) enables secure wireless collaboration in the modern digital workspace. Easy to deploy and manage, install the Receiver in conference rooms, huddle rooms, lounges, lobbies, or almost any space to establish a productive meeting environment.

Connect and Present
The Receiver mounts invisibly behind or beside a wall-mount display and enables a smart room with wireless collaboration. It features AirMedia wireless presentation capability, an HDMI® output to the display (up to 4K), an HDMI input, and various USB interfaces for wireless conferencing and touch interactivity. Connect your laptop, smart phone, tablet, or other source type to instantly present the source image on the display.

AirMedia Wireless Presentation
With AirMedia technology, users can wirelessly present content from laptops, smartphones, and tablet devices via an external Wi-Fi® wireless network. Present content from desktop or laptop computers using downloadable client software, the AirMedia extension for the Google Chrome™ web browser (Windows® 10 computers only). Present content from Android™ and iOS® mobile devices with the AirMedia app.

HDMI Connectivity
In addition to AirMedia, the AM-3200 includes an HDMI input for direct connection of a local source, such as a Mini PC, or a portable laptop computer via an optional wall plate or cable. The HDMI input supports HD 1080p/60 signals.

AirMedia Canvas
Present multiple sources simultaneously with the AirMedia Canvas feature. AirMedia Canvas supports two sources. Additional sources will be supported with a software license (sold separately, coming soon). To maximize screen coverage, AirMedia Canvas automatically configures the best possible layout based on the number of active presenters, the type of sources, and their aspect ratios. Use the AirMedia app or a connected touch screen (sold separately) to manage sources and their position on the display.

Enhanced Onscreen Experience
When no source is connected, the AM-3200 displays a customizable welcome screen on the room display with simple instructions for connecting and presenting. Integration with Microsoft Exchange Server® (for Outlook® and Microsoft 365® software users), Google Calendar™, or Crestron Fusion® room scheduling software allows the space's availability and meeting details to appear onscreen. As the meeting progresses, notifications appear periodically to indicate both the time left in the meeting and the next scheduled event. Pop-up messages sent from Crestron Fusion may also appear in the event of an emergency or to deliver an important announcement.
