Designed for use with Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices, the SG4P1AT switch provides up to 25.5W of power to 802.3at PoE compatible devices connected to the switch's PoE ports. The Switch allows these devices to draw power from the switch and remove the need for a power adapter. Some devices that may have support for 802.3at are Wireless Access Points, IP Phones, and IP Cameras. The Switch's ports automatically negotiate between 10 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T network speeds, as well as between full and half duplex modes, so any port can connect to a Fast Ethernet or Ethernet network. The ports also support Auto MDIX, allowing the automatic detection of a straight-through or cross-over cable, this feature reduces support problems commonly caused by incorrect cable usage.

The SG4P1TE is a 5 port Gigabit 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet unmanaged switch supporting 4 high power 802.3af/802.3at PoE+ ports with a total PoE budget of 60W. Each PoE+ port can be controlled manually to support either 10/100/1000Mbps at the standard Ethernet distance of 100m or set to 10Mbps to support range extension to a maximum of 180m (range dependent on cable quality). The compact size of the SG4P1TE makes it ideal for users with limited space. It is an excellent solution for network devices that require high-power such as indoor and outdoor surveillance equipment and access points.
