This transmitter/receiver kit uses ordinary, easy-to-pull CATx cable to extend DVI-D video for digital signage and other multimedia applications.
The kit provides a cost-efficient solution to overcome the 16.4-feet limitation of the DVI specification. It's particularly ideal for use in conference rooms, or in office and industrial settings.
Installation is a snap. Simply connect the DVI-D output of your PC with the local unit and your display with the remote unit. Next, connect both with the CATx link cable, and turn on the power. Use the PC exactly as if you have a direct connection to your display.

The ServSwitch Single DVI CATx KVM Extenders, USB, extend the distance between local USB consoles and CPUs and remote USB consoles up to 400 feet (121.9 m) over CATx cable. Connect a keyboard, mouse, and DVI-D monitor directly to the computer on the transmitting end of the link and a KVM console with a DVI-D monitor on the receiving end. Dual access enables you to use your computer at either location. With more monitors connected to your computer, you can put a different applicaiton on each monitor to eliminate tedious switching between applications. Or if you have an application that uses lots of small windows, you can expand it across both monitors for more work space. This receiver is especially versatile when used with the ServSwitch DKM DVI-D KVM Switches (ACX0808, ACX0816, ACX0832, ACX1616, ACX1632).

Our ServSwitch™ Single DVI Fiber Optic KVM Extender for USB enables you to send keyboard, mouse, and DVI-D video signals at up to 6.2 miles (10 km) over single-mode fiber.

This extender works with a USB keyboard and mouse over fiber. The DVI-D Dual Head KVM Extender with Audio and RS232 is ideal for critical applications in which reliable digital image quality and fast switch-over of redundant hardware are required. With operating temperatures from 41 to 113°F (5 to 45 °C) and storage temperatures from -13 to 140°F (-25 to 60 °C), this KVM extender is particularly beneficial in industrial or other harsh environments where sensitive hardware should not be exposed. It is also ideal for work environments in which noise from fans and CPUs is unacceptable.

The small form factor fits easily into the workspace, reducing clutter and enabling greater productivity. LEDs on the device provide easy visual status indication.
