The ComNet™ Ethernet CNFE100X media converter series are one-channel Ethernet electrical to optical media converters. These auto-negotiating devices accept a 10/100 Mbps electrical input and convert this to a 100 Mbps optical output. This series of media converters use multimode and single-mode optical fiber and one and two fiber SC and ST optical connectors. LED indicators confirm operational status. All models are environmentally hardened with no electrical or optical adjustments (Plug and Play). Packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing, the standard size units may be either wall or rack mounted. Models within the series are also available in a small size. The units are powered by an included DC power supply.

The ComNet Ethernet media converters are designed to transmit and receive 10/100 Mbps data over multimode or single mode optical fiber. The electrical interface will Auto-Negotiate to a 10 Mbps, or 100 Mbps Ethernet rate without any adjustments. The optical interface operates at a 100 Mbps Ethernet rate. These media converters are environmentally hardened to operate in extreme temperatures. LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status. Packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing, the standard size units may be either wall or rack-mounted, or may be DIN-rail mounted by the addition of ComNet model DINBKT1 adaptor plate.

The ComNet CNFECL1MC and CNFE1CL1MC-M are environmentally hardened modems that support Ethernet over twisted pair or coaxial cable using VDSL2 technology at data rates of up to 90 Mbps. Ethernet data may be transmitted over a telephone-grade twisted copper pair, legacy serial cabling, or standard 75Ω coaxial cable circuits, making these rugged units ideal for those applications where it is desired to utilize an existing installed base of copper wiring for Ethernet transmission. These modems are the perfect solution for upgrading a legacy twisted copper or coaxial cable plant for use with Ethernet, when compared to the significant costs of installing new network cabling. The CNFECL1MC-M may be deployed in most out-of-plant installations, such as those found in intelligent transportation systems and factory automation/control applications.

The ComNet FVT11M video mini-transmitter supports transmission of a fixed video signal using AM modulation on one multimode fiber optic cable. The FVT11M video transmitter is compatible with the FVR11M, FVR10M, FVR21, and FVR22 receivers. Plugand- play design ensures ease of installation requiring no electrical or optical adjustments. The transmitter incorporates a bi-color (Red/Green) indicating LED for monitoring proper system operation.
