The Intel Server System SR1600URHSR Barebone System is designed for high-density compute power in a 1U rack chassis. This Server System features includes 12 DIMMs DDR3 memory, high speed PCI Express 2.0 I/O slots, and integrated RAID, for high performance computing (HPC).

The Intel® Server System R2300GL family takes full advantage of the new Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 product family capabilities with the Intel® Server Board S2600GL family. The Intel Server System R2300GL family features an energy efficient spread core design and maximum (512 GB) memory capacity with up to 16 DIMMS, S2600GL-based rack-optimized server systems deliver unmatched performance, I/O capacity, and flexibility in an expansive family of 1U and 2U systems for the most demanding enterprise data center, cloud, or high performance computing (HPC) environments.

The Cisco UCS C480 M5 High-Performance Rack Server is a four-rack-unit (4RU) server supporting the Intel® Xeon® processor scalable family CPUs, with up to 6 terabytes (TB) of double-data-rate 4 (DDR4) memory1 in 48 slots, and up to 32 small form factor (SFF), hot-swappable2 SAS/SATA/PCIe NVMe disk drives.

12 PCI Express (PCIe) expansion slots support Cisco UCS C-Series network adapters storage controllers, and up to 6 GPUs, with additional I/O provided by two 10GBase-T LOM ports and one 1GbE dedicated out-of-band (OOB) management port. A separate PCIe slot is reserved inside the chassis for a RAID controller card.

The UCS C240 M5 LFF server extends the capabilities of Cisco's Unified Computing System portfolio in a 2U form factor with the addition of the Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family, 24 DIMM slots for 2666-MHz or 2933-MHz DIMMs with capacity points up to 128 GB, 2666-MHz DCPMMs with capacity points up to 512 GB, up to 6 PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 slots, and up to 12 front-facing internal LFF drives. The C240 M5 LFF server also includes one dedicated internal slot for a 12G SAS storage controller card.

The latest update includes support for 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, 2933-MHz DDR4 memory, and the new 512GB Intel® OptaneTM DC Persistent Memory Modules (DCPMMs). With this combination of features, up to 9 TB of memory is possible (using 12 x 256 GB DDR4 DIMMs and 12 x 512 GB DCPMMs).

The C240 M5 server includes a dedicated modular LAN on motherboard (mLOM) slot for installation of a Cisco Virtual Interface Card (VIC) or third-party network interface card (NIC) without consuming a PCI slot, in addition to 2 x 10 Intel x550 10Gbase-T embedded (on the motherboard) LOM ports.

The Cisco UCS C240 M5 server can be used standalone, or as part of the Cisco Unified Computing System, which unifies computing, networking, management, virtualization, and storage access into a single integrated architecture enabling end-to-end server visibility, management, and control in both bare metal and virtualized environments.
