HID Global pivCLASS® Government Solutions enable facilities to upgrade their existing physical access control system (PACS) to FIPS 201 compliance.

The pivCLASS contactless readers that deliver the "Controlled" assurance level (as defned in NIST SP 800-116) work with the pivCLASS Authentication Module to perform the following single-factor authentication modes:

iCLASS SE® R10 Contactless Smartcard Readers powered by Seos® are designed for door applications requiring a small footprint reader. These next generation readers support a variety of high frequency ISO 15693 and ISO 14443A/B credential technologies. Best for new installations with no existing credentials or or complete replacement of vulnerable 125 kHz technology. Moves to today's accepted 13.56 mHz standard, supporting smarter, more secure access control.

Configurable to support HID Mobile Access® now or in future.

iCLASS SE® R10 is part of HID Global's iCLASS SE platform for adaptable, interoperable access control. Designed for door applications requiring a small footprint card reader, iCLASS SE® R10 supports a broad array of credential technologies and a variety of form factors including cards, fobs and mobile devices. Configurable to support HID Mobile Access®.

Selected models also have Environmental Product Declaration certification and Green Circle certification, which contributes toward LEED building credits.

iCLASS® readers offer an open architecture design permitting compatibility with many of the most popular cards in the market, which comply with ISO 14443A, 14443B, and 15693 interoperability standards. Regional compatibilities include US Government PIVII (FIPS201),offering one of the most flexibility reader platforms available.

iCLASS readers are user-friendly, delivering the same convenience and reliability of our Prox technology, for which HID is known worldwide, with state-of-the-art features, driven by evolving industry requirements.

Upgrading from Prox to iCLASS technology has never been so simple. All iCLASS readers provide the same wiring connections, low-current consumption, and 5- or 12-volt operation as our Prox readers. Additionally, you can transfer your Prox format and user identification numbers to iCLASS credentials, making the change completely transparent to your access controller.
