The VE170 A/V Over Cat 5 Extender, comprising of a VE170T Transmitter unit and a VE170R or VE170RQ Receiver unit, is a cost-effective and effi cient solution for sending and receiving high quality audio and video content. Connect the two units using Cat 5e cable and the displays can be located up to 300 m (1000 ft) away from the Transmitter's input source. The VE170R and VE170RQ Receiver units can also be used with the ATEN VS1204T/VS1208T A/V Over Cat 5 Splitter as a transmitter.

The VE170RQ features ATEN patented Deskew technology, which supports the manual synchronization of RGB signals and corrects color phase and timing errors that occur over large distances.

VE170RQ is the long distance receiver of the VE170 series Audio / Video extending system, it connects to a VE170T over standard CAT5e cabling [ sheilded recommended ] to a maximum distance of 1000ft. and a maximum video resolution of 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. To ensure the highest quality of video, the VE170RQ has three manual adjustments to compensate for the time shift between the Red, Green, and Blue color channels that occurs beyond 500 ft.

The ATEN VE1801AUST HDMI HDBaseT-Lite transmitter delivers 4K signals up to 130 feet over a single Cat 5e/6/6a or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable, ensuring users to stabilize HDMI signal transmission with support of 3D, Deep color and embedded HD lossless audio formats. During high-quality video transmission, the transmitter can resist signal interference with the equipped HDBaseT Anti-jamming technology and offer a reliable signal extension.

The VE1801AUST can be easily mounted in a 1-gang junction box with US wall plate, concealing bulky cable setups and presenting needed information in sight. In addition, with built-in PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function, the VE1801AUST receives power supply from a connected PoH PSE supported receiver and streamlines complex power line deployment.

Expanding on previous models by the share function, the VE1801AUST can remotely switch source when connecting to a compatible receiver, e.g., VP1421, bringing users for more convenient AV extension. This compact transmitter provides a neat and simple installation on walls or tables, enabling users to elegantly immerse their AV applications into any environment. Therefore, the VE1801AUST is ideal for use in meeting rooms, digital educational environments or any application requiring stable high-quality transmission and effortless installation.

The VE1812 HDMI HDBaseT Extender with POH is the ideal solution for connecting equipment in remote locations up to 100m over a single Cat 5e / 6 / 6a cable. With Long Reach Mode enabled, the VE1812 can extend HDMI signal up to 150m @1080p.

The VE1812 supports RS-232 and IR signaling pass-through, allowing you to control the HDMI source device from the receiver unit (VE1812R) while also accessing the HDMI display device from the transmitter unit (VE1812T). The IR signals can also be extended in both directions.
