The Verbatim PowerBay Quad NAS system offers high performance with fast Gigabit Ethernet connections that centralize storage over a network. The PowerBay Quad NAS offers all of the advantages of the PowerBay family, plus unique features that further enhance data protection and security. In addition to RAID modes 0, 1+spare, 5 and 5+spare, the Quad NAS supports RAID 6 mode for even higher data security. RAID 6 technology allows data to be recovered even when a drive fails during the rebuilding process (two drive failure). NAS systems can be rebuilt automatically without physically replacing a cartridge in RAID modes where a spare drive is utilized. PowerBay NAS also supports 256 bit AES data encryption. The PowerBay Quad NAS system is simple to set up via a web-based interface and supports most major Network File and Service protocols. It supports scheduling of automatic backup of all computers on a network as well as many other storage management features including Active Directory support.

For connectivity, the PowerBay NAS has 2 Ethernet ports, 2 USB ports and an eSATA port. The high speed eSATA port is particularly useful for high speed mirroring via an external HDD device such as the PowerBay RAID or single drive, allowing access to data even if the NAS unit malfunctions. Real time volume replication/backup to another PowerBay NAS unit is available via the external LAN port. With capacities up to 8TB, the PowerBay Quad NAS system is an easy choice for reliable network storage and security.

This DVD media continues to set the standard for high-speed disc performance, reliability and compatibility. DVD+R Double Layer nearly doubles the storage capacity with two AZO recording layers on a single-sided disc. Certified and supported by high-speed, Double Layer writers, these discs are approved for high-speed burning up to 8X speeds. Store up to 8.5GB of video in approximately 16 minutes or less while maintaining compatibility with most DVD video players or DVD-ROM drives.
