General Description:

The Electro-Voice® EVF-1122S/126-FG is a fully-weatherized, fiberglass-coated, high power, 2-way loudspeaker system that can be used in a variety of applications where high quality sound reinforcement is required in a compact, lightweight package.

The EVF-1122S/126-FG utilizes the ND2B, a high output 2" titanium compression driver, coupled to a Constant Directivity™ 120° x 60° waveguide. The SMX2121 12" woofer used FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design for very low distortion, high efficiency, and maximum intelligibility at high SPL levels. The crossover uses steep 24 dB/octave slopes with equalization for very smooth response in vocal range, linear off-axis response, and a protection circuit for long term reliability.

The EVF-1122S/126-FG features make it ideal for many fixed install applications, including applications with full exposure to outdoor elements. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed out of weather resistant birch, and coated with fiberglass for maximum protection from extreme outdoor elements. The unique acoustic and rigging design allows for vertical and horizontal clusters to be built using any combination of loudspeakers from the entire EVF & EVH Series, with 7 horn patterns to choose from and an assortment of Low Frequency and subwoofer loudspeakers, it gives you the tools to maximize flexibility of system design, no matter what the application and budget. The innovative input panel provides phoenix style connectors (included in all standard models) and gland nut cover plate (for weatherizing applications). An externally accessible jumper selects passive or active operation. An available 70.7/100 Volt transformer kit simply mounts to the input panel for use in distributed systems. All these features give you the flexibility to do a large range of venues in extreme environments with fewer items in inventory and quickly support your customer's requirements.

For high frequencies, the EVF-1122S/99 utilizes the ND2B high output 2-inch titanium compression driver, coupled to a rotatable Constant Directivity 90° x 90° waveguide. For low frequencies, the SMX2121 12-inch woofer was developed using FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design to ensure very low distortion, high efficiency, and maximum intelligibility at high SPL. The crossover uses steep 24-dB per-octave slopes with equalization for very smooth response in the vocal range, linear off-axis response, and an HF protection circuit for long term reliability.
The EVF-1122S/99 features make it ideal for many fixed-install applications. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed out of weather-resistant birch and coated with EVCoat for enhanced durability. For protection against outdoor elements, weatherized versions are available (PI and FG). The enclosure is built with 22 M10 suspension points; 20 for single hang (four (4) shoulder eyebolts included) or cluster arrays (optional HRK or VRK kits) and two (2) for single hang with a U-bracket (optional EVF-UB).
The innovative input panel provides Phoenix-style connectors (included in all models) and a dual gland nut cover plate (CDG included in PI and FG models). For convenience in temporary installation you may add a dual NL4 type connector cover plate (CDNL4). The Electro-Voice EVID C10.1 loudspeaker system is a complete low frequency ceiling subwoofer package. The EVID C10.1 is designed to augment the low frequency response of any EVID ceiling speaker. The package consists of a bezel assembly, grille, rear enclosure, 10-inch loudspeaker and internal linematching transformer. The EVID C10.1 loudspeaker utilizes a 2nd order crossover network to provide the correct band-pass frequency response for use with any EVID Ceiling loud speaker. The C10.1 utilizes a transformer that offers a selection of 7.5 (70-V only), 15, 30 or 60 watts delivered to the loudspeaker system using either 70-V or 100-V lines, or 8 ohm bypass. Selection is via a convenient switch on the front baffle. The perforated grille is finished in semigloss white powder-coated enamel. The baffle and bezel are constructed from UL 94V-0 rated ABS. The rear enclosure is constructed from zinc-plated, heavy gauge steel. The rear enclosure, with fiberglass damping material, provides an optimum internal volume for extended low-frequency performance. A rear cover, with provisions for a junction box fitting, provides access to a 4-pin terminal block that allows direct connection to the speaker with 12 gauge wire and provides full-range pass through to additional speakers. A tile bridge is included for safe suspension of the C10.1 ceiling systems in a drop ceiling that uses mineral wool, or other fiber-based ceiling tiles. The EVID C10.1 loudspeaker system shall be comprised of a UL 94V-0 fire rated ABS baffle/bezel assembly, zinc plated steel rear enclosure, powder coated grille with safety tether, transformer with 8 ohm bypass and 10-inch polypropylene low frequency transducer. The loudspeaker shall meet the following criteria: power rating shall be 100 watts of EIA RS-426A continuous pink noise (6 dB crest factor). Frequency response, 45 Hz to 180 Hz. Pressure sensitivity, 94 dB SPL at 1meter (3.3 feet) on axis with one watt of pink noise (ref. 20µPa). Minimum impedance, 6.0 ohms. The loudspeaker shall be 320 mm (12.6 in.) in diameter and 303 mm (11.9 in.) deep. Weight shall be 7.0 kg. (15.5 lb). The subwoofer ceiling loudspeaker shall be the Electro-Voice ® model EVID C10.1.
