Hardware Connectivity

The Fusion Splice LC-UPC Fiber Optic Connector is a singlemode 9/125µm OS1/OS2 simplex fiber connector, intended for 900µm tight-buffered or 250µm loose-tube fiber installation. Field termination can be done in about two minutes on several common splice machine brands. The connector consists of a ferrule assembly with a bare fiber stub, a front housing, a rear housing with integral boot, and a splice protection sleeve.

The Category 6A UTP FieldCord easily connects network devices, especially those with limited space for cords or RJ45 plugs, to network cabling. The FieldCord assembly combines a compact RJ45 plug, a 3.0 meter length of Category 6A UTP Plenum-rated 23AWG cable, and an in-line field-terminable connector for mating to 4-pair 100-ohm UTP twisted pair cabling. The fusion splice LC Fiber Optic Connector is a multimode 50/125µm OM3/OM4/OM5 fiber connector, intended for 900-micron tight-buffered or 250um loose-tube fiber installation. Field termination can be done in about two minutes using common fusion splice machines (not sold by Panduit). The pre-polished fiber endface eliminates time-consuming field polishing, reducing installation costs. The LC connector has an aqua- and grey-colored front assembly and rear assembly/boot.

LC small form factor (SFF) field polish connectors with rear pivot latch shall be TIA/EIA-604 FOCIS-10 compatible. LC simplex and duplex connectors shall be field terminable. The fibers shall terminate in 1.25mm ceramic ferrules with non-optical disconnect functionality and an average insertion loss of 0.1dB per mated pair for multimode and singlemode fiber.
