The MB607SP-B is predicated off the incredibly popular ruggedized mobile rack MB994SP-4SB-1, while taking its general concept, but built with cost effective structure without sacrificing anything in the way of strength. For better compatibility, the original 4 pin power connector has been replaced with a more, popularly used, 15 pin SATA power connector, and reducing cable clutter. The MB607SP-B takes 4 x 2.5" SAS/SATA HDD/SSD from 5mm to 15mm height, and supports hot swap for quick and easy drive replacements. The single 40mm cooling fans has an additional 3-Mode Fan Speed control, allowing the best flexibility - Turn off / low when using SSD's and high when using mechanical SATA hard drives. The MB607SP-B is constructed of rugged robust metal to survive the most demanding conditions making it a perfect storage upgrade kit for Medical & Military systems, embedded system, and industrial PC.

The MB607SP-B utilizes our EZ Slide Mini Trays, making drive interchangeability and maintenance completely hassle free. The trays are built using rugged full metal so that they are durable for many lifetimes, but will not weigh you down when transporting your data from system to system. The EZ Slide Mini tray is featuring a full range drive protection design; the top drive cover provides added protection while moving the drive. The trays are designed to accommodate 5mm, 7mm, 9.5mm, 12.5mm & 15mm drives giving you the ultimate universal 2.5" SAS/SATA drive support with hot-swap function.

Utilizing its small form factor, the MB607SP-B is perfect for use in small form factor system or system that requires multiple drives with limited physical space. With its high density drive design and limited number of 5.25" drive bays available, it is a perfect combo to create a RAID 5 or RAID 10 systems with ease. Also, it is built to function in the most demanding environments including military and law enforcement deployment, as well as manufacturing conditions such as embedded control systems and factory automation systems. The full metal design makes it ideal for placement in tough environments.

Bringing more utility to your hard drives or SSDs, LED's are installed into the front of the mobile rack to provide individual drive status information at all times. Active Power Technology (APT) allows each LED and the cooling fan to be active only when a hard drive is inserted into the enclosure.

A single 40mm cooling fan is placed on the rear panel, providing equivalent airflow throughout the entire cage. In addition, a 3-Mode Fan Speed Control has been added to be flexible in various situations, depending on your usage - you may need the fan to be at a higher speed, or completely off for silent operation.

ICY DOCK's EZConvert MB705M2P-B is a complete solution to convert any M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD into the exact dimensions and port locations as a standard 2.5-inch U.2 (SFF-8639) NVMe SSD. Designed for compatibility, it accepts all M.2 sizes from 30mm to 80mm (2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280) in length, mounting them without screws or tools, and allows these drives to be installed anywhere that accepts a bare 2.5-inch NVMe drive, such as an U.2 backplane, hot-swap bay, 2.5" mounting bracket, or in ICY DOCK's U.2 NVMe removable enclosures/mobile racks. Enable Hot-Swap

Because M.2 SSDs are not designed to be hot-swapped, their connectors are very delicate, typically rated for only 250 insertion/removal cycles. When used with the EZConvert MB705M2P-B, M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs can be hot-swapped without putting any wear on the internal connector, instead using ICY DOCK's strong hot-swap connector rated for 10,000 insertion/removal cycles. Hot-swap makes it easy to add, remove, and replace drives without the need to restart the system.

EZConvert MB705M2P-B accepts any 30mm-80mm M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280) and gives it the exact same dimensions, port locations, and screw-hole locations as a standard 9.5mm U.2 NVMe SSD.

Packed with Features

The dual-function full-metal lid protects delicate M.2 SSDs from bumps and drops. The aluminum lid also acts as a heat sink to keep NVMe drives at safe temperatures, even under heavy load.

The included thermal paste sticker can be attached on to the underside of the full-metal lid for increased heat dissipation.

For additional cooling performance, the bottom air vent can be cut out to make room for an M.2 heat sink, or for additional air flow.

Multifunctional Detachable ODD Faceplate

The MB732SPO-B comes with a multifunctional detachable faceplate for the CD-ROM/DVD/Blu-Ray ODD slot. When no disc reader is installed, or when using an ultra-slim (9.5mm) disc reader, the faceplate becomes a protective front dust cover, protecting your internal components from overheating due to accumulated dust blocking ventilation holes. The faceplate can be easily hidden and stored inside of the enclosure with a specially design housing spot for the faceplate.

To install a slim ODD (12.7mm height), simply insert your slim ODD into the MB732SPO-B and secure the device with included screws. The Multifunctional ODD bay faceplate can also be used as a spacer when a thinner ultra slim ODD (9.5mm height) is installed.

Packed with Features

Each of MB732SPO-B's drive bays has its own indicator light to notify you of any drive activity, preventing drive damage by alerting you when your drive is in use. A blue LED is easily visible, without casting too much light and straining your eyes.

Each drive bay has its own power switch, saving power when not in use. Because you don't have to physically remove the drive, using the power switch protects the internal connectors from wear and erosion of their protective coatings.

The ExpressCage MB732SPO-B supports both 7-pin SATA and 15-pin SATA power cables with locking latches, so you'll never need to worry about cables unintentionally disconnecting from your enclosure. Once these cables are connected, they'll lock into place and stay that way.
